Stratto Calling

from It Is All an Illusion by Diane Marie Kloba

Wrote words, showed my feelings
A vulnerable occupation
It is what it means to be human for me
Separated but longing for connection, you know
I think there is no such thing as imperfection
For in my eyes sometimes the beauty is in difference
Even these gray overcast long day clouds
Of the Darkest Winter I have ever known
til now has shown some kind of necessary reminder of how
Somehow this will turn to Spring
I am going to figure out how to make myself wise
Every one I care for is going to know it
If they don’t I have to watch my words without censoring my self
Wrote words, exposed my feelings
A vulnerable occupation
This poet is either brave or stupid
No lines are bad, everyone has their own way of interpreting
It is all in the id
You heard what I said
You know what I said
It took a long time to find the rhyme
In the saddest song I ever wrote
On a cold dark winter's night
On a cold dark winter's night
